  2.  (Well, it got your attention didn`t it?)

  4.  So, what do you think of this disk, I hope you appreciate all the bloody
  5.  hard work that went into it...(but that`s pretty damn doubtful)
  6.  
  7.  This Akira Picture Disk 2 has been over a year in production. (Check the
  8.  date on the Kanedap pic - one of the first pictures drawn for this disk)
  9.  
  10.  Feel free to nick the graphics, (I can`t really stop you can I?), but 
  11.  pleeeeease remember to credit me for the work. Don`t be a sad bastard and
  12.  pretend it`s all your own work. Same goes for the music. If you rip both
  13.  tunes (The Shadow of the Beast one, and the SAE Hard Rockin` one) read
  14.  the sample names....you`ll notice I`ve left all the credits there....well,
  15.  except for the SOTB2 ones...there wasn`t any to begin with.  People work
  16.  really hard to do wonders on their productions, so don`t be the lowest of
  17.  the low and claim they`re all yours. (sad, very sad)
  18.  
  19.  If you have anything to say about this disk,PLEASE, don`t hesitate, send
  20.  me your opinion, or if you want to send me loads of AKIRA merchandise,
  21.  then do so. (but no letter bombs please (just for a change))

  24.  Here`s a quick explanation of the pictures on this disk:-
  25.  
  26.  26Light - Hires,16 cols.   Displays Number 26/Takashi before he gets hit
  27.            by Tetsuo`s motorcycle. Completely hand drawn,and copied from
  28.            the comic books.
  29.  
  30.  Kanedap - Hires,16 cols.   Er..has Kaneda sat astride his bike. Completely
  31.            hand drawn from a stand alone artwork from the comic books.
  32.            It`s called `Kanedap' because it`s a picture of Kaneda and it`s
  33.            been packed. Hence the `p` bit..Er....shit excuse really.
  34.  
  35.  Vengeance - Hires,16 cols.  Copied from the front cover of the issue 8
  36.              comic book. Completely hand drawn. Entitled `Weapon Of  
  37.              Vengeance' because that was the name of issue 8.
  38.  
  39.  Kaneda&Sakaki - Hires,16 cols. B+W scan then fully recoloured. Shows 
  40.                  Kaneda giving Sakaki a right good kickin'. Ha! Serves
  41.                  her right! Scanned from the back cover of Akira Collection
  42.                  Five.

  44.  Kaneda3 - Hires,16 cols. Completely hand drawn. Shows Kaneda blastin'
  45.            Tetsuo...right towards us...aaaargh!  from the end sequence of
  46.            the movie.  Copied from a badge (yes,a badge)

  48.  Colonel - Hires,16 cols. Well, it`s the er, colonel...that`s it.
  49.            B+W scan then fully recoloured as in the original picture in 
  50.            issue 15 / end part of Collection 5.

  52.  Tetsuo2 - Hires & Overscan, 8 cols.  Completely hand drawn. Shows Tetsuo
  53.            after just getting hit by Kaneda (see Kaneda3)  Copied from
  54.            an exclusive print/poster.
  55.  
  56.  TetsuoDream - Hires,16 cols.  B+W scan then fully recoloured. Here, we
  57.                are about to enter one of Tetsuo`s dream sequences.
  58.                Where he gets to see his parents....aaaaaaww! Taken from 
  59.                issue 23 / Middle collection 8.  b+W image scanned from back
  60.                of Collection 8.
  61.  
  62.  Powerpic - Hires,16 cols. Completely hand drawn. Shows the last few  
  63.             sequences of the film / book where Tetsuo`s energy is gradually
  64.             getting too much for him and starts his mutation. Gross eh?
  65.             A very old picture, taken from about issue 31 of the comic 
  66.             book.
  67.  
  68.  KneelingAkira - Hires,16 cols.  B+W scan then fully recoloured.  Well,
  69.                  there`s not much more to say.It`s just Akira that`s 
  70.                  kneeling down looking pitiful.  This is my favourite 
  71.                  picture on the disk. I like the colouring & anti-aliasing
  72.                  (sort of...look carefully...good eh?)  Copied from issue
  73.                  15 of the comic book / end of Collection 5.
  74.  
  75.  Mutate - Hires,16 cols.  Completely hand drawn.  Copied from an ORIGINAL
  76.           AKIRA ANIMATION CEL. (not jealous are you?)  Shows Tetsuo's 
  77.           totally uncontrollable energy mutating him. AND he`s getting
  78.           `sucked' into Akira`s gathered light. Poor sod. Look at those
  79.           puppy-dog eyes...you almost feel sorry for him don`t you?

  82. And that`s it!  All done!   There are other hidden messages dotted around
  83. the disk. Why not look for `em? 
  84.  
  85. As I said, if you want to contact me for any reason whatsoever (maybe to
  86. discuss the soon imminent arrival of Akira himself to take all his followers
  87. with him to a better place......(mad me, mad...completely barking) )

  98. In fact, if you want an AKIRA disk 3 as good as this one, you`d better ask
  99. for it.....how would I know otherwise?  Why not send your Akira pics to me?
  100. (although it`s not essential you send any disk at all, I`ll be happy to 
  101. hear from any of you!)
